The incidents narrated in this story are self-explanatory which basically ought to determine the basis of dealing with Pakistan on all security issues. India should not believe in any of the statements emanating from Islamabad because the civilian government in Pakistan is not the one making foreign policy towards India. It is the nexus of ISI/Military which is responsible for the foreign affairs as far as India is concerned. The terror camps are controlled by ISI/Military and financed by the Saudi government. Pakistan being a failed state has no money to waste on these terror camps. It is a free flow of money from the Saudis who are determined to propagate Wahibism worldwide. Saudis are utilizing Pakistan as a training ground to serve their own purpose. All these trained fanatic graduates are sent worldwide whether there is a need in Syria, Lebanon or anywhere else. I like what Mr. Narender Modi said recently in one of the seminars that Pakistan has to be taught a lesson in the same language. Mr. Antony's statement is OK under the circumstances, but should not be considered as the basis of complacency. It is about time that Indian defense forces show some teeth on the LOC and the complacency should take root only when for every dead Indian soldier, at least ten Pakistanis lose their lives on the LOC. Unless Pakistan pays a heavy price on the border, it will learn any lesson. However, India should also review its policies towards Saudi Arabia for the simple reason that they are equally instrumental in spreading terror in the world by abetting and financing the terror groups.
Mr. Sharif suggested that India and Pakistan should cut defense budgets as a gesture to improve relations between the two countries. India ought to weigh this suggestion very carefully because what Mr. Sharif is saying may not be his words rather they may be portraying the intention of China who would like to see it happen to further its own hegemonic empire in the region easily. India should not forget that after Mr. Sharif was elected as PM of Pakistan, he right away flew to see his big brother in Beijing for consultation. THEREFORE, TO IGNORE THE NEXUS OF CHINA/PAKISTAN AGAINST INDIA WILL BE A FOLLY.
