It is very interesting to note that all of a sudden the Pakistani leader is worried about the security of SRK - an Indian national. One wonders why Mr. Malik is concerned only about SRK and not about other known Muslim personalities in India including the other Bollywood Muslim icons. Does it reflect any political and religious affiliation between SRK and Pakistan or should one conjecture that it leads to some connection of the D-Company residing in Pakistan with the Bollywood arena in which SRK is part of. This is a point which needs to be probed thoroughly. As far as establishing peace between India and Pakistan along with the issuance of visas for the senior citizens are concerned, Mr. Mailk is talking like a broken record. India has been trying since 1947 to achieve this goal, but without any concrete outcome. One can expect friendly relations only if both parties are sincerely interested in pursuing it. You cann't clap with one hand and it needs two to tango. With the attitude Pakistan has since 1947, India should not waste its time, energy and resources unless there is a clear cut initiative shown by the Pakistani leaders towards this end which means initiating action to eradicate terrorism from its territory and bring the culprits of 26/11 to justice. THE TIME IS NOW TO TELL PAKISTAN TO BEHAVE IN A CIVIL MANNER OR FACE THE CONSEQUENCES.

The fear of jihadis which the western world is realizing is real because the time is in favor of Jihadis. The attack on World Trade Center in New York on 9/11 is a live example. The militants tried to bring the towers down in 1993, but were not successful. However, they kept their plans in motion and eventually after 8 years they achieved their goal. Hence, the threat from brainwashed jihadis is real. It does not matter whether it erupts in Mali, Pakistan or Afghanistan. Unless the jihadi mentality is eradicated now, the world stands a good chance to see these rotten seeds growing all over the world. Then it might become too late and more expensive to extirpate it. Therefore, the burden is on the shoulders of a civilized community to join hands now and stop all aids and dealings with those countries who are abetting, financing and organizing the activities of these outlaw groups. Currently, there is a handful of countries propagating these jihadi elements and it is easy to manage this problem. Once these jihadis become successful in establishing their cells all over the world, it will become a big headache for the western world to overcome it and everybody is going to pay the price. THE WESTERN WORLD OUGHT TO LISTEN TO WHAT PRIME MINISTER CAMERON OF UK IS STATING AND BECOME PROACTIVE TO ELIMINATE THIS JIHADI MOVEMENT FROM THE FACE OF THIS EARTH.

I agree with the Indian government stand of not making any
hasty decision in this matter. There is
a need to put pressure on the Pakistani government to apologize publicly of
what its forces have done at the LoC with an Indian soldier. Secondly, the return of head of a mutilated
soldier will be a big relief for the respective family. Unless Pakistan
adheres to these issues, opening a dialogue with Pakistan is senseless. This writer holds an opinion that what has or
is happening at the LoC is with the connivance of leaders at Islamabad to divert people's attention from
the domestic social issues. The leaders
in Pakistan
may also use unstable border situation at LoC as an excuse to postpone an
impending election. Also, as far as
issuance of visas to the Pakistani nationals is concerned, it ought to be shut
right away. None of Pakistanis including
artists, singers, and actors should be allowed to function in India. IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT INDIA BECOMES AGGRESSIVE IN ITS DEALINGS WITH PAKISTAN.

''Mr.
Owaisi's request to award him a special prison status is ridiculous.
His statements, once proven in his voice, should be treated as a
traitor's voice and he ought to be treated as a traitor. Most of the
times, these government officials exploit the honor bestowed upon them
by the Indian Constitution and they feel free to get involved into
corruption and other illegal activities. This is the right opportunity
for the Indian Government to amend the Constitution and treat all Indian
citizens at par irrespective of their party affiliation, social and
political status, gender, age, caste and creed. This is the only way to
save the social fabric of a country. An enactment of tough laws to
control anti-India movement/slogans/seminars and their strict compliance
is the need of the time before it gets out of hand. ARE THE LEADERS AT
THE CENTER AND STATES WILLING TO BE PROACTIVE TO CONTROL THIS
ANTI-INDIA BEHAVIOR.''
''The
treatment given by the Pakistani forces to the Indian military
personnel on the LOC is a heinous crime, unpardonable and not following
the tenets of the Geneva agreement. Now, if the Pakistani players are
not allowed to play in India, it is a small gesture of frustration and
anger on the part of an Indian government. Pakistan deserves much
stronger and forceful reaction from the Indian government. Simply
making statements by the Indian politicians and military personnel will
not set this unacceptable behavior of Pakistan on the right footing.
They ought to be paid in the same coin rather on a much larger basis.
After Chief of the Army - Mr. Bikram Singh - gave a blanket
authorization to the generals at the LOC to act strongly if there is
another violation on the LOC, Pakistan committed another violation
yesterday without any reaction from the Indian forces. What good is
that authorization? Is it just an eye wash to satisfy the masses in
India or is there a political move behind the scene? India demands
clarification. How long India will accept this inhuman behavior on the
part of Pakistan? In this writer's opinion, India should shut its door
to Pakistan till India sees some concrete and sincere effort on the part
of Pakistan towards amelioration of relations. This writer also feels
that in view of an impending elections in Pakistan, these skirmishes on
the LOC might provide an excuse for the civil government in Islamabad to
postpone or suspend elections. I also feel that what is happening on
the LOC is with the connivance of military and civilian leaders to
divert attention of Pakistani from the domestic social issues. INDIA
NEEDS TO WAKE AND DON'T GET CAUGHT IN THE DUAL GAME OF PAKISTAN?'

The immigration problem in the UK is not something which does not
have a solution. What it needs is a
determination and a leadership with a strong spine to save the country from
untoward future headaches. To make room
for the new arrivals, the UK
government has to clean its house first which means to deport all, I mean all,
illegal residing in the country.
Secondly, anyone, I mean anyone, who is preaching anti-UK sermons ought
to be declared a traitor and should be shipped out without wasting too much time. If that person is UK born, he ought to be locked up
for a longer time, without parole. The UK government
ought to be very selective in issuing visas.
These visas should be issued only to those who are well qualified to
contribute positively further to the economic and technological development of UK. This might require a constitutional
amendment, so be it. If the existing
tenets of constitution is not working in favor of a country for which the
constitution was written, it needs to be changed with the changing times -
otherwise it will remain as a piece of paper with no values. THE UK GOVERNMENT NEEDS TO BE PROACTIVE
IN THIS MATTER TO SAVE THE FABRIC OF A COUNTRY.

Everyday, we witness Sunis mercilessly killing the Shia
Muslims in all over Pakistan
without any adequate help from the military and the leaders in Islamabad.
The police authorities seem to be helpless against the mentality of
Jihadis and they look like bystanders.
By looking at this bizarre daily scenario, one can infer that the
Muslims in Pakistan do not understand and follow what the Quran says - love
all, forgive all and peace with all etc. - rather they follow the path of
exterminating whosoever comes in their way.
How stupid and sad it is to lead ones life? The merciless killing of Shias- a Muslim
minority - by the Suni Muslim majority also prompts one to ponder the long run
future of non-Muslims minorities - Hindus, Sindhis and Sikhs etc. in Pakistan. How can non-Muslim minorities in Pakistan live
in peace under the Jihadi menace? It is
of a paramount importance for the leaders in Islamabad to initiate some concrete action to
stop this menace. Karachi is burning everyday, Balochistan is
seeking independence and KP Province is also on a very edgy situation. Over-all, the activities of the outlawed
groups are working their way up to see Pakistan being dismantled. Is that what Islamabad is waiting for? Non-action on the part of military and the leaders
at the center shows that they are in for their own interest and no one cares
about the well-being of minorities. This
is a good recipe for the destruction of Pakistan. IT IS ABOUT TIME THAT PAKISTAN
ERADICATES ONCE AND FOR ALL THE JIHADI MOVEMENT FROM ITS TERRITORY TO SAVE THE
COUNTRY.
This is another shameful and cruel act of rapists towards an innocent female community. The way this lady was raped multiple times by inebriated people, tortured and finally hanged on the mango tree is a sign of mental imbalance of perpetrators. These people are inhuman and need to be treated the same way they treated the victim. Everyday, the Indian press and media display scenes and stories of females being raped with impunity in different part of India, and unfortunately, the legislators in the states and at the center are sleeping and not initiating any action to control this menace. One wonders if a rapist while proceeding with his heinous act at all for a minute realizes what if someone else performs a similar act to his sister, mother or wife. How would he take it? What kind of punishment would he suggest for the perpetrator? Because when a female is raped, it is not only her life which is destroyed, but also the life and name of her family too. Alas, I think these type of questions are meant for people with pure soul and mind and not for creatures with imbalanced chemicals. Needless to say, the burden is on the legislators at the center and states level to enact severe punishment for rapists - at least life without parole - to create a real psychological phobia in the mind of such culprits. THIS ISSUE DEMANDS AN URGENT ATTENTION OF ALL INDIAN MALES AND FEMALES TO PUSH THEIR LEGISLATORS TO BECOME PROACTIVE TO ERADICATE THIS MENACE FROM THE SOCIETY.
Wednesday, January 9, 2013
Ms. Das has her own view about rapes and we should respect
it. However, this writer hold an opinion
that a strict punishment in place for the rapists definitely serves as a
deterrence to the culprits. It is true
that a display of cleavage and other parts of the body for females attracts the
opposite sex, but there is no reason that the female community should be placed
under any kind of restriction not to use moderate western clothes. You don't want to take the country to the 7th
century. Therefore, in my opinion,
moderate fashionable clothes are not the main reason of this problem, but the
lack of severe punishment for such criminals is something the legislators ought
to ponder upon. Ms. Das is comparing the
culture of other countries with the Indian culture which, in my opinion, is not
the right way to handle this menace. The
purpose of enforcing strict punishment for such criminals is very
psychological. Once a criminal knows
that there is a good possibility that he may be hanged, if proven guilty, he
will think ten times before he proceeds for such crime. THE BURDEN IS ON THE SHOULDERS OF INDIAN LAW
MAKERS TO SAVE THE FABRIC OF A CIVILIZED SOCIETY BY ENACTING SEVERE PUNISHMENT
- NO ONE SHOULD BE ABOVE THIS LAW - FOR RAPISTS.
Saturday, January 5, 2013
What Mr. Attrey has been doing for the last 5-years is
another addition to the chapter of rapists.
Everyday we read and hear stories of this type of crime which is
sickening and degrading for the female community of India. It needs to be stopped and the perpetrators
ought to be punished severely. It may
need a constitutional amendment as to how to treat the MPs and other government
officials at par with the ordinary citizens of India, but this is something the
legislators have to think and think quickly before this menace gets out of
hand. In this writer's opinion, the
rapists- once proven guilty - should be put behind bar without parole for life
at least. This law ought to be
applicable on the same basis irrespective of his caste, creed, party affiliation,
age and the status in the society. A
more serious crime like what happened in the case of Delhi gang-rape, rapists
ought to be hanged in public to set an example for the future such criminals. THIS SOCIETAL PROBLEM NEEDS TO BE TACKLED NOT
WITH FRIENDLY GLOVES, RATHER HAS TO BE HANDLED WITH A HEAVY HANDEDNESS.
Friday, January 4, 2013
What Mr. Owaisi is doing is simply inciting the Muslim
community of India
against the non-Muslims. It ought to be
declared as unacceptable act. His stay
in London needs to be probed whether he has some
genuine medical problem which cann't be treated in India or is he trying to escape
imprisonment. The Indian Government
should seek assistance from the local government in London
to release Mr. Owaisi unless his medical situation is so acute and unique that
he has to receive medical treatment in London. I heard his speeches and to me he did not
show any medical problems in his voice.
He was roaring like a lion prompting the audience to rise against the
Hindus. Yes, there have been complaints
filed against him, but the question is what type of treatment he will get if he
is sent to the prison. If he is going to
be treated like a Maharaja in the prison, he will never change his
attitude. People like him ought to be
declared as 'traitors' first and then need to be handled differently. He does not need a treatment with friendly
gloves, rather he needs to be assigned a hard labor in the prison to set an
example for others who might be contemplating following the same path. IT IS AN APPROPRIATE TIME FOR THE INDIAN
GOVERNMENT TO MAKE SOME CHANGES IN THE INDIAN CONSTITUTION AND HANDLE THESE
GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS LIKE ORDINARY CITIZENS - WHETHER THEY ARE GUILTY OF
CORRUPTION, RAPE OR ANTI-INDIAN SPEECHES.
Thursday, January 3, 2013
Mr. Owaisi is one of many Muslims in India who are
inciting Muslims against non-Muslims. They are the crop of bad seeds in a
society who need to be properly fertilized and irrigated. what is
warranted right now is to probe thoroughly who their supporter is and their
long term motive. Needless to say, these type of people are enemies of
India, they are ungrateful people and they don't even realize for a second that
they are hurting the same land they live on, the land which provides them food
and shelter. They obviously are the mouth piece of some anti-Indian sect
which needs to be shut. The local government's step to level charges
against Mr. Owaisi is a step in the right direction. In this writer's
opinion, these type of speeches ought not to be allowed and these speakers
should be declared as 'traitors' and brought to justice without wasting too
much time. Democracy may be one of the best governing systems in the
world, but under no circumstances the soft tenets of the system should be
allowed to be exploited. These misguided individuals while living under
the democratic system take everything for granted. They need to be
punished severely. IT IS THE RIGHT TIME FOR THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT TO SHOW
SOME TEETH TO HANDLE THIS ON GOING PUSH ON THE PART OF FANATIC MUSLIMS.
This is another case of on going saga on the rape
cases. This 17-years old was raped by
two boys by offering her a drink which was mixed with intoxicated
substance. This sounds like a
pre-planned act on the part of these criminals.
After reading these news about the sub-human behavior of male vs.
female, one wonders how many more females have to face this type of degrading
treatment before the judicial system tighten its noose around the neck of such
criminals. These rape cases in India are
propping up like mushrooms. It seems
like no one in authority cares about doing anything to stop this societal
menace. This writer has a firm belief
that inaction about this matter will lead to catastrophic societal
consequences. The leaders at the center
and at the state levels ought to devote all their resources to curb this menace
before it gets out of hand. When I say
'out of hand', it is not a far fetched statement. The situation is almost there. Therefore, the pressure is on the political
leaders, cops and the community workers to solve this riddle and, in my
opinion, the only solution to this enigma is to enact a tough anti-rapist law
with no ambiguities. Attorneys should
not have any room to wiggle through the wording to find loopholes in this
law. THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING WHAT
THE INDIAN LEADERS DO IN THIS MATTER.
Here is another addition to the on going saga of
rapists. This Congressman in Assam raped a
mother of two children. Even though he
was humiliated in open by the local residents, it is not an adequate punishment
for such criminals. Country needs a law
which will be applicable and adhered to by all the states of India to
eradicate this menace. Women need equal
and full respect in the society. These
type of criminals and even supporters of these criminals should be brought to
justice without wasting any more time.
May be special courts need to be established across the country just to
hear the rape cases so that they can be disposed of quickly. As we know, there are so many such cases
languishing in the Indian courts which need to be resolved urgently with a
severe punishment. The idea of awarding
harsh/severe sentence is to set an example for the future criminals who might
be contemplating repeating the same crime.
In the opinion of this writer, no rapist, once proven, should be given
less than a life imprisonment without parole.
During the imprisonment, they ought to be required to work hard labor,
and this principal needs to be applicable to all such prisoners irrespective of
their party affiliation, gender, caste,
creed and a status in the society. Any
recommendation or support from any one for such criminals needs to be
highlighted so that the whole country becomes aware of people who have a soft
corner in their heart for such crimes.
IT IS THE DEMAND OF TIME THAT THE INDIAN GOVERNMENT TAKES AN OWNERSHIP OF THIS ISSUE AND DO SOMETHING
CONCRETE TO ERADICATE THIS MENACE FROM THE INDIAN TERRITORY.
Tuesday, January 1, 2013
This type of heinous crime ought to be handled with a severe
punishment. These criminals treated a
female mercilessly and, in my opinion, they should be paid in the same
coin. Death penalty being asked by the
prosecutor is justified. Mr. Throor, one
of the state ministers has very rightly suggested to name the pending anti-rape
law after the name of the victim, if there is no objection from her
parents. I am astonished to see the
picture of one of the culprits whose face is hidden behind a mask. It is not fair. The faces of all these culprits should be
shown to the whole world and then hang them in public to set a precedence for
future criminals who might be contemplating repeating the same crime. Also, it will help the incumbent government
to expedite this case and award the death penalty to all culprits- including
the juvenile. Age should not have any
consideration in this matter. Once the
anti-rape law is enacted, it should apply to all rapists irrespective of their
age, caste, creed, party affiliation and a status in the society. IT IS A HIGH TIME FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO
BECOME PROACTIVE BY ENACTING A SEVERE ANTI-RAPE LAW TO PROTECT THE FABRIC OF A
CIVILIZED SOCIETY.
