Mr. Sharif's government and his predecessors had been trying to establish some type of meaningful dialogue with the militant groups in Pakistan to maintain peace so the country can gear towards some other channels for the betterment of its citizens and avoid the killing of innocent civilians.  Unfortunately, no fruitful results seemed to be coming out from all these efforts, rather it has been proven to be a waste of time, energy and resources.  The reason being a very fanatic and unacceptable guidelines and demands purported by the militant groups before they stop their jihadi movement.  They would like to turn Pakistan into a fundamentalist country operated under the Sharia Law which will not allow the female community to enjoy their fundamental rights to education, free speech and free movement in the society.  In addition, all non-Muslim communities will be treated like 2nd class citizens and will survive on the mercy of a Suni Muslim community which is a true reflection of a societal image of 7th century.  Is this acceptable to any present and/or future government in Pakistan?  If not, then what is the solution to solve this riddle?  It seems like Pakistan is in a fix.  Should Islamabad continue exploring avenues to deal with these fanatics via. exchanging dialogues or take stern military action to exterminate them?  Unfortunately, Pakistani military authorities are not listening to a civilian government in Islamabad, rather militant groups have the blessings of a nexus of military/ISI.  Somehow, this writer feels that the burden to extricate the Pakistani people from the clutches of a handful of militants lies on the shoulders of western civilized communities.  Terrorism is such an evil which is not only hurting Pakistan's economy, it has influenced adversely the global economy also.  Therefore, it is imperative that there is a united front to confront these non-state actors wherever they are and bring peace on earth.  If the civilized societies stay complacent and do not initiate any well thought out action to eradicate this menace from the face of this earth, it may become too late for all of us because it seems that the time is in favor of these outlaw groups.
