I agree with most of the narrative on the Kashmir problem mentioned in
this write-up. However, I feel that in order to preserve peace in that
part of India and bring prosperity, it is very important to abrogate an
Article 370 from the Constitution. The removal of this Article will
help bring investment in the private sector from other regions of India
which in turn help enhance an employment situation. Once people find
suitable jobs that will keep them engrossed in earning their livelihood
and less time for demonstration in the street and destruction of public
property. As they say, idle mind is a devil's mind. This can be done
only by evincing full sincerity on a bi-partisan basis on the part of
local, state and the central government to bring real peace in the
region. Even though all politicians say that a solution to the Kashmir
problem can be found only with an exchange of dialogues, but no one has
so far come out with the real solution as to what those dialogues should
comprise. I personally feel that an abrogation of an Article 370 and
bringing investment from other parts of India will make this region
flourish again.
