Pakistani government has been unable to control the activities of the militant groups not because of US drone attacks, but due to the implicit understanding between the militants and the military/ISI nexus. These militants are not rich people, they are dirt cheap poor people. However, they carry all modern defense equipment and bullets.Who buys that kind of armaments for them?Mr. Mehsud, the leader of Pakistani militant group who got killed couple of days ago was living in a posh bungalow/farmhouse.Who paid for that property? So, the problem is not with the US drone attacks, the crux of the problems lies within the Pakistani Military/ISI establishment which is helping these militant group to stay in power for their own selfish interest. If today, all militant groups surrender their guns and exchange dialogues with Islamabad for peace, would anyone sees any need of US drones to be in Pakistan? Not at all. So, instead of blaming on US drones, Pakistan needs to mend fences internally
