Discussing the issue of Mumbai attack with Pakistan with the hope that the culprits will be
punished is a waste of time for the simple reason that Pakistan cann't punish its own established
jihadis whom they use against India.
Instead India needs to be firm
in dealing with Pakistan
whether it is an issuance of visa, business or other issues at the United
Nations. Pakistan
does not deserve to be treated with friendly gloves. Pakistan is
sounding little bit amenable in its rhetoric due to its deteriorating fiscal
and overall weaker position in the world forums. As far as Kashmir issue is concerned, it is an excuse on the part
of Pakistani government to divert the attention of Pakistanis from its dismal
economic picture and also to appease the Jihadi establishments. We know
that even the Kashmiris in the POK area have expressed their opinion
against becoming part of Pakistan.
We also know that Pakistan
cannot control the existing territory, then one wonders the rationale of
aspiring to acquire new lands. Baluchis do not want to be part of Pakistan, Sindhis and other minority communities
would like to migrate to some other destinations at heartbeat, Karachi
is burning on a daily basis- thanks to Jihadis, there is no law and order
situation in Pakistan
and Judiciary has no saying in the operation of the governmental
activities. So one wonders the purpose of repeating the slogan of
acquiring Kashmir. Pakistan does not have the fiscal and military
power along with the will of local Kashmiris to manage Kashmir.
It is, therefore an appropriate time for Pakistan
to stop using Kashmir as an excuse in the way of improving relations
between India and Pakistan
and rather divert its limited resources towards the welfare of its citizens
viz-a-viz education, improvement of infrastructure and manufacturing
operations. ARE THE LEADERS OF PAKISTAN
SENSIBLE ENOUGH TO THINK ABOUT THE WELFARE OF ITS CITIZENS, FAILING WHICH THE
DOOMS DAY IS NOT TOO FAR FOR PAKISTAN.
